A leading international consultancy is looking for a Data Analyst to provide data management support and analytical infrastructure to the business.

The salary on offer is £60,000 per annum plus benefits.

Job Description

The role is focused on the collection and interpretation of financial data.

You will build data sets and then prepare scheduled reporting and specialist reports using enterprise analysis software and database tools. Additionally, you will collect and validate financial data and assist in the development of new modelling applications. 

You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the data and its integrity and will analyze it for errors, anomalies or inconsistencies and perform calculations to prepare for complex analysis – including variance, trending and regression.

You will be able to perform sophisticated, statistical analysis and to present your findings in lucid reports that can be utilized by the business. 

To be suitable for this role you need to have demonstrable expertise as a Senior Data Analyst and MUST be familiar with accounting systems – including enterprise ones such as SAP and JD Edwards. In addition to the skills expected of a Data Analyst you must show experience on your CV of having designed or developed complex data spreadsheets.

It would also be highly beneficial to your application if you are familiar with programming languages or applications such as SQL, SAS, MATLAB, ESSBASE or Hyperion.

You will be based in London but will have to travel extensively and could spend as much as 30% of your time overseas.
