Honorary Graduates 2012

Lionel Barber, the editor of the Financial Times, honoured with an Award of Doctor of Science Honoris Causa for his contribution to the field of journalism.

Every year City University London recognises a number of distinguished individuals and leaders of their professions through the award of an honorary degree. Honorary degrees are awarded to those people who have achieved international academic distinction or held major leadership roles nationally or globally in the areas of business and the professions that City University London serves and who are considered to be excellent role models for our students. In addition to honorary doctorates, our University also awards honorary fellowships to candidates who have contributed to the University (whether by benefaction, achievement or service).
