Information for Presenters

Request for file upload

In your initial conference acceptance email, we advised that you would be asked to upload slides or poster in advance and to provide a copy which can be shared with delegates.

Please upload your presentation or poster file(s) using unique link previously sent to you via email

*Please note: By default, the file you upload her will be shared securely with delegates. If you wish a different copy of your file to be shared with delegates than the one you are presenting (for example with the videos removed or with specific figures redacted), please upload both copies to the same shared folder above, marking one file title “for presentation” and one “for distribution”. The file marked “for distribution” will be the one made available to delegates. The other file will be used for delivery during the conference itself.

Deadlines for uploading:

  • Presentations (lightning, oral and symposium): Thursday 14th August 12pm.
  • Posters: Monday 11th August 10am

Presentations

Lightning talks

  • 5 minutes only
  • Those presenting in the Aphasia-Friendly session are allocated 7.5 minutes
  • Please upload as a PowerPoint presentation. By default, slides will be shared as a pdf version without notes. If you would like them to be shared in a different format, please indicate this on the filename when you upload your slides.

Oral presentations

  • 15 minute with 5 minutes allocated for Q&A
  • Those presenting in the Aphasia-Friendly session are allocated 20 minutes with 10 minutes for Q&A
  • Please upload as a PowerPoint presentation. By default, slides will be shared as a pdf version without notes. If you would like them to be shared in a different format, please indicate this on the filename when you upload your slides.

Symposia

  • 60 minutes
  • Please upload as a PowerPoint presentation

Posters

  • Please upload your poster as a PDF.
  • A1 size
  • Portrait orientation (i.e. 59.4cm wide x 84.1 cm height)
  • You will also be required to provide a printed copy for display during the in-person conference. This will be on display for all days of the conference you are in attendance.
  • The above time slot refers to the time and day your poster will be spotlighted to delegates immediately preceding the lunch and posters slot on the schedule. This lunch and posters slot will give you an opportunity to sit/stand with your poster to discuss it with delegates.
