The new Health Careers website is now live

Health Education England is inviting visitors to explore the new Health Careers website which brings together the very best content from the NHS Careers, Medical Careers and PHORCaST (public health careers) websites.hee

Features

It provides detailed information on more than 350 roles in health, a number of real-life stories and videos, as well as a comprehensive course finder which lists more than 1000 courses leading to eligibility for professional registration.

Health Careers also has some great new tools such as a personalised homepage based on your interests. Other exciting features include:

  • a ‘compare roles’ tool enabling users to compare bite-sized information on up to three different roles
  • a ‘related roles’ function so users can explore roles similar to the ones they are interested in, but may not have considered or even heard of before
  • an events calendar for information on career related events across the country such as university open days and careers fairs

Design

The new website has been built following in-depth research and user testing, and created with the user experience firmly in mind. There’s information for everyone – those of any age thinking about a career in health, to those who’ve already started a career in health and are thinking about their next step.

The Health Careers website has been designed to be compatible with all browsers and devices, including mobile phones and tablets.

Visit www.healthcareers.nhs.uk today and register to receive ongoing information about careers in health.

Redirects

It will be replacing the current NHS Careers, Nursing Careers microsite, Public Health careers (PHORCaST), Medical Careers and NHS Careers undergraduate/graduate careers websites. During the coming few days, as the new website becomes established, you’ll find that you’ll be automatically redirected from the current sites to relevant pages on the new Health Careers website.
