Terms and Conditions

Unless they are contained in the University information, or unless expressly stated otherwise, opinions given on the Cass MSc Admissions Blog are those of the individuals making them, and not those of the University.  The University is not responsible for such opinions or any claims resulting from them.

To the extent permitted in law, the University accepts no liability for any loss or damage which may be suffered by other parties as a direct or indirect result of using this blog (including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of business and consequential loss).

Site monitoring:

The site is not monitored daily.

All posts will be reviewed by the moderator prior to publication and will be subject to the non-exclusive terms and conditions noted below.

Please note that posting something on the blog does not constitute communication with the University.  The blog is intended as a way for applicants to gather information and advice about the admissions process and associated issues and is not an effective substitute for contacting the admissions office directly.

Acceptable content:

This blog shall not be used to display, transmit or store text or images or other data which could be considered offensive such as pornographic, racially abusive or libellous material.  The test here is not whether you, or your peers, find content offensive; it is whether such content could be deemed offensive to others.

The following also applies:

  • No one shall make use of the blog to harass any person or group of persons.
  • No one shall make use of the blog to undertake or assist in a criminal act.
  • No one shall produce, use or promulgate material which could bring the University or any part of the University into disrepute.  In particular, this implies that using a blog post entirely or largely for advertising purposes, including product links, is not permitted.

Publication of postings:

Persons submitting material, other than University information, to this blog are solely responsible for the material and for any claims relating to its content, whether made against the University or otherwise.  The University reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove any content which it has been notified is objectionable, whether or not the objection is substantiated, and otherwise to review, edit or delete any comments posted by users which it deems defamatory, unlawful, threatening or otherwise objectionable
