Jenny contributes to Norient’s “Seismographic Sounds”

Jenny has contributed to the recent Norient (Network for Local and Global Sounds and Media Culture) publication “Seismographic Sounds – Visions of a New World” edited by Theresa Beyer, Thomas Burkhalter and Hannes Liechti.

The book, accompanied by a touring exhibition, originally introduces a contemporary world of distinct music, sounds and music videos.

Jenny’s contributions co-authored with Aisha Dème offer two critical commentaries on the parody of Stromae’s hit song “Formidable” realised and produced in the framework of the JTR (Senegalese rapped TV news) by Xuman.
