The biggest loser?

Congratulations to Ros for publication of a new article in the journal Social Semiotics. The article looks critically at the TV show ‘The Biggest Loser’, which pits individuals against each other in a battle of physical challenges and weight loss. The lead author of the article is Olivia Monson, who is a Ph.D. student at Murdoch University in Western Australia, where Ros is a Distinguished Visiting Professor. Ros is co-supervising Olivia with Dr Ngaire Donaghue.
