Andy gets funding from Creative Spark Central Asia

Prof Andy Pratt is pleased to be part of a team that has been awarded a grant by the British Council Creative Spark Central Asia Initiative to help with the development of training and education of students in the field of the creative industries in Kazakhstan. The project is funded for £42,000 in stage one for the next 18 months; if successful there will be a follow on programme. Andy is working with colleagues at Narxoz University in Almaty, who he has been working for the last year on a creative economy mapping of Kazakhstan. Colleagues at Narxoz have teamed up with a group at Coventry University to provide the training. Andy is playing an advisory role; he is also on the British Council Advisory and steering groups for Kazakhstan.
