CCCI Creative Diversity Week discussions and debates

CCCI is happy to once again present a week of activities celebrating Cultural Diversity. UN Cultural diversity Day is 21 May, and it provides us a chance to develop our appreciation and understanding of the challenges, and achievement of, global cultural diversity; as well as the threats.

CCCI will be making this occasion with 4 events involving colleagues past and present:

Tuesday, 18th May 12-1pm: Dr Reiko Yoshida (UNESCO, Programme Specialist) UN Year of Creative Economy for Sustainable Development, UNESCO Convention 2005 and capacity-building within policy; Discussant: Prof Andy Pratt; Chair: Dr Jenny Mbaye

Wednesday 19th May 12-1pm: Dr Ruba Saleh (ICHEC Brussels Management School) Cultural Heritage Management, Circular Economy and Entrepreneurship; Discussant: Prof Andy Pratt; Chair: Dr Jenny Mbaye

Thursday 20th May 12-1pm: Ms Aida Esposito (CreativeThinking); London and its Creative Entreprise Zones; Discussant: Dr Tarek Virani (UWE, Bristol); Chair: Andy Pratt

Friday, 21st May *12-1.30pm* CCCI Head to Head Session with Prof Rosalind Gill Media do not represent me (Discussant: Prof. Jo Littler) & Dr Toby Bennett CICERONE: European H2020 and Global Production Chain in Publishing (Discussant: Dr Tarek Virani) – Chair: Dr Jenny Mbaye
