Destinations of City Graduates

Did you know that City first degree graduates’ median salary is £25,000? That’s £5,000 higher than the median for UK first degree graduates. Our graduates continue to find employment with top employers such as Goldman Sachs, Bloomberg, Ernst & Young, The Guardian, NHS, Google, IBM amongst many others.

You can read the full extent of the Destinations data on the Careers website. This data is available thanks to previous year’s graduates taking part in the Destinations of Leavers of Higher Education Survey. If you completed your course between 1st January and 31st July, you will be asked to take part in the survey later this year.

Employability Skills Masterclass

The Careers Service will be running this event later in the year for recent graduates who have not secured a graduate position. Please ensure we have your most up to date contact details so that we can send you further information as soon as it is available.

  1. The data used to provide this information also reveals that (UK wide) of those graduates who entered employment, more were self employed / freelance than in 2008/2009.

Are you a recent graduate in the process of setting up your own business? Tell us about your plans here.

  2. Since leaving city in 2009, i have revamped my company, krisanth technologies to offer aviation support services. We currently provide aviation refuelling services, supply and maintenance of air ground support equipment for the military and private airline companies. The passion and drive to move in this direction was due to my training and appreciation of the air transport business during my stay at city
