The City Strategic Plan 2012-2016

City University London launched its Strategic Plan for 2012-2016 in March 2012. The Plan will secure City’s position as a leading global university through a renewed commitment to academic excellence, a continuing focus on business and the professions and investment of up to £200m in research-excellent academic staff, information systems & services infrastructure and property & facilities.

The Plan identifies how the University will continue to develop and strengthen through its focus on:

  • The quality of education, research and enterprise and the physical environment in which they are delivered
  • The academic performance and satisfaction of students and staff
  • Institutional as well as student-centred internationalisation
  • City’s academically led organisational processes and information systems
