Congratulations to our Law Librarian, Emily Allbon (Information Science 2001) who recently won this year’s Robert Kitchin award! Sponsored by the Worshipful Company of Saddlers, the award recognises a staff member’s contribution to City’s development.

The award was given in recognition for Emily’s work on Lawbore, which she created in 2003. Lawbore is a national portal for law students which incorporates many forms of technology designed to aid student learning and engagement (gateway, wiki, blog, twitter, video and talking slide shows). It was recommended by The Times in 2009.
