Congratulations to Electronic Publishing graduate Jean-christophe Pascal, whose dissertation research was the starting point for an article that has just been accepted for publication in the International Journal of Media and Cultural Politics. The reviewers said the article makes “a valuable contribution to current policy debates about the development of the UK local” media. Link to article here – http://openaccess.city.ac.uk/1125/

Congratulations also to another EP graduate, Anna Walters, whose dissertation research was the starting point for an article that has just been accepted for presentation at the 2012 World Media Economics & Management Conference in Thessaloniki, Greece on 25th May. The research, on Live Blogging, was conducted – in the summer of 2011- in partnership with Guardian.co.uk.
