Trying to lose weight? Or have you just set out to embark on a healthier regime to shed a few pounds? We want to hear from you!

Arts and Social Sciences News, City Graduate School.

The Department of Psychology is currently running a health psychology research study investigating the effects of simple strategies that could be used in addition to individuals’ existing weight loss plans.

To get involved you need to be aged over 18 and looking to lose weight. You will be asked to come to the lab twice (at City University London, St John Street) to complete some simple health-related questionnaires and tasks and have your height and weight measured. These sessions will be 7 days apart and each one will take approximately 45 minutes.

You will receive payment of £10 at the end of the second session.

Please contact Alberta.Ipser.1@city.ac.uk if you are interested in taking part.

Research conducted by Abby Ipser under the supervision of Dr Katy Tapper. This study has been reviewed by, and received clearance through the Senate Research Ethics Committee, City University London. If you would like to complain about any aspect of the study, please contact the Secretary to the University’s Senate Research Ethics Committee.
