Meet our new Interim Dean of Bayes

Professor André Spicer is Professor of Organisational Behaviour and the Interim Dean of Bayes. He is an expert in the areas of organisational behaviour, leadership and corporate social responsibility, and is founding director of ETHOS: The Centre for Responsible Enterprise.

Professor Spicer’s research focuses on wellbeing, organisational politics and culture, employee identity, new organisational forms, work space and leadership in a wide range of organisational settings. He frequently commentates on his work for global media and is published extensively in top scholarly journals. He has also published a range of books including ’The Stupidity Paradox’ (Profile), ‘Metaphors we Lead By’ (Routledge), ‘The Wellness Syndrome’ (Polity), ‘Business Bullshit’ (Routledge) and ‘Desperately Seeking Self Improvement’ (OR).

In addition, Professor Spicer has worked with many large national organisations and been invited to speak in a number of prestigious settings, most notably the European Central Bank, UK House of Lords and the European Commission.
