Welcome to the May 2025 issue of Bayes Alumni News.
Fittingly at this springtime, the scope and activities of our global network continue to grow apace, as evidenced by the many alumni stories, news, opportunities and events that you will find herein.

Since the last issue, Alumni Gatherings, Reunions and Receptions took place in no fewer than 17 destinations: Beijing, Chennai, Dubai, Hanoi, Houston, Istanbul, London, Milan, Mumbai, Nairobi, New Delhi, New York, Riyadh, Seattle, Shanghai, Toronto and Washington DC. This is testimony to the ever-increasing connectivity and reach of our alumni community and the tireless efforts of our alumni ambassadors, volunteers and staff at all levels. Without their combined efforts, these invaluable opportunities to come together, connect, network, discuss and debate topical issues would not be made possible.
Closer to “home”, I am pleased to announce that the second Bayes Alumni Forum will be taking place on our Bunhill Row campus in London on 6 June. The theme of this flagship event will be ‘Navigating the Unknown: Re-thinking Business in a Transforming World’. Buoyed by the success of last year’s event, we are once again inviting alumni, students, faculty and staff to come together for a programme of masterclasses, keynote speeches, innovative discussions and seminars, culminating in a wonderful evening reception at the Ironmongers Hall. I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at this eagerly anticipated event. Find out more and secure your tickets via our webpages.
Forever mindful of supporting you and your career path, it is appropriate that this year marks the fifteenth anniversary of the ever-popular MBA Careers Beers. We are also rolling out over May to November a series of dedicated careers webinars for PG Alumni from individual contributor to C-suite executive level. Be it via physical alumni community events or bespoke training sessions delivered by industry experts, the steps you are taking in the working world remain at the very heart of our priorities.
Alumni should also be aware of the many existing opportunities to support the School, current students and one another. This can take the form of offering student projects, placements or coaching, as well as funding scholarships and volunteering to become Alumni Ambassadors in the many regions around the world where our vibrant alumni network is so active.
On these many positive notes, please enjoy reading the first issue of Bayes Alumni News since the official launch in March of the “Together We’re More” re-branding campaign in support of the City St George’s, University of London merger!
Best wishes,
Professor André Spicer
Executive Dean, Bayes Business School
