City Research Online now contains just over 20,000 publications – mainly journal articles, book chapters, conference proceedings and theses. This year there were nearly quarter of a million visitors largely from the UK, with the Philippines, USA, India and Germany rounding out the top 5 most heavy users. Overall however CRO attracts users from all over the world, with every nation visiting the repository at least once over the year.

The most popular publications this year cover a breadth of subjects across different schools. The book chapter, Globalization and the mass media remains the most popular item in the repository.
