If you are thinking about studying for a masters in Library Science or Information Science, please come to our autumn open afternoon at City, University of London on November 24th. Book your place!
This informal event provides an opportunity for potential students to hear about and discuss career options for those with recognised qualifications in library and information science. There will be a brief presentation about course content and delivery, and staff, students and alumni will be on hand to answer any questions about the discipline, or about studying at masters level.
In the zettabye era, the LIS profession has responsibity for recording, organizing, ensuring access to and understanding of previously unimaginable amounts of information. How can modern masters courses ensure that future professionals have the skills needed to work in an ever-expanding information landscape?
