Food for the soul …

So, as I mentioned I was down with the flu for the last ten days, and I can say the only highlight in those miserable days was my visit to City Sport for their glamourous launch, that I wrote about earlier.

I’m happy to report I am on the road to recovery, and seeing by the positive feedback I received about my note on my nutrition, I thought this note should mention that again…

So, seeing as most of my intake through last week was soups and salads and more soups, dinner today, I thought should be a welcome, healthy treat – so I brought out some tuna, got out the flour and whisked some eggs, and kneaded them all together into a dough, rounded them into nice little patties and soaked them in some bread crumbs and shallow fried them. Add to that some fresh tomatoes cut and sautéed in garlic, and some brussel sprouts steamed on the side. And voila! I had me a nice meal ready – healthy and very tasty! 🙂

Now, this is just a variation of one of my quick recipes that I use to eat healthy, nutritious and tasty meals – and I am sure you can also try it! I guess, what I’d like to reiterate is that, fitness is not just about exercise, its also about eating the right food. A healthy body is a healthy mind. And with that, hopefully I can make it to CitySport this week and update you on my workouts! See you soon! 🙂
