This resource collects stories from staff, students and alumni at the School of Health Sciences, at City, University of London.
We aim to collect stories of growth, resilience and change, to help our students develop their self-confidence, and do well in their studies and in their lives, whatever that means for them. These stories aim to support our students, or anyone watching them, to enhance their wellbeing and recover from setbacks.
Examples of stories can be seen on the Stories page. We’d love you to view these stories! If you’d like to give your opinions on these stories and how they affect you, we invite you to take part in our evaluation of this resource at the Research page (please consider doing this before you view the story resources).
If you would like to get involved by providing a story, please see the Get Involved page. This resource is continually evolving, and we always welcome new stories.
In Our Backstory we explain the previous work that has inspired this resource, and gratefully acknowledge inspiration from the Stanford Resilience Project (YouTube video), and the support of Richard Beggs, at the University of Ulster.
If you have any comments, or would like to collaborate with us, please get in touch.
