A.Wilson’s story

Before
I started working for a furniture company Hitch/Mylius .
They sent me to college, London college of furniture, and they encouraged me to get high standards of upholstery work. I worked for them 15 year.
I started working for my self in a small work shop In a Enterprise.
Going through good times and BAD times.
Working for my self for 30 years and have a good working relationship with EKO. I have a lot of stories about working on jobs with work mates.
My work takes me to a lot different business in London,
Most of my work was after normal hours

After
Started in the hospital when can you come and visit me, she was she was part of the Stroke Association. She come visit me in hospital
Then they put me in touch with Jo and she was a speech language lady and she comes from New Zealand and we had a laugh at that she is going to teach me to speak
The physio taught me to walk straight and cope with steps and pavement. The OT lady helped me using my right hand after my stroke by getting me to sit on my left hand.
I went to stroke club’s and there was good and bad things there and they said to me I should volunteer. Now I’m volunteering for City University London Aphasia group
