Vision statement

Higher education will be radically disrupted by digital transformation. It is our ambition that City St George’s will be a disruptor rather than be disrupted. To achieve this, we need to develop the organisational mindset and capabilities to embrace the opportunities that digital transformation gives us.

Over the last year we have worked across the institution to understand what our digital aspirations are in relation to education, research, student experience, and enterprise. We have already invested in our core IT infrastructure through the “IT Big 6” strategic technology change projects.

A learner- and research-centred, digitally empowered institution

This vision guides our ambition to transform into a learner- and research-centred, digitally empowered institution, offering personalised, flexible, and innovative education and research. This directly supports the achievement of Vision and Strategy 2030.

We aim to prepare our diverse learners and collaborators for the evolving demands of business, practice, and the professions, while building a culture of continuous learning and digital excellence among staff and the broader community.
