Welcome to my UX blog, ‘The Only Constant is Change’.

Here I describe some of the experiences I’ve had so far in the UX industry, what I’ve learnt from working on UX projects, and what I enjoy reading about on my wider UX journey which is shaping the practitioner I become. I cover a variety of topics, ranging from the trials of conducting user research with taxi drivers in India, to extracts of the exciting projects I’ve worked on during my MSc in Human Centered Systems from City University, London.

My goal isn’t just to show you what I’ve learnt, however, but also the values I hold and the impact I’d like to make. My specific interests include mobile applications and pioneering technologies that support healthcare and vulnerable people, and customer experiences that encourage environmental behaviour change.

As a designer I love to travel, and I hope to work abroad one day so that I can extend the impact I have whilst working with different people. I also love design, developing relevant skills and learning about the design industry. It’s a real pleasure to work in a constantly evolving field, especially one which has the potential to improve the quality of our environment, and eradicate problems which beset our health systems or hold back education. More than anything, I have a passion for people. Coming from a background in psychology I love to meet new people and learn about their opinions and needs. Therefore, please leave your views on the topics I write about in the comment sections below.
