Information Services is involved in almost every aspect of University life, from admissions and graduations, down to payroll management and Sports Centre memberships.
We recently undertook a project to create a catalogue of all the services that we provide, allowing everyone at the University to quickly and easily see the wide array of IT facilities and services that are available to both staff and students.
As you would expect, our services include the operation of business systems such as SITS and SAP, the management of our websites and the provision of IT hardware and software. However, the Service Catalogue also highlights a wide range of lesser known services including the operation of a 3D printer, and the provision of a Council interface, enabling local councils to facilitate council tax discounts to our students.
To help people better understand what we do and how we do it, we’ve released the Information Services 2015 Service Catalogue online http://www.city.ac.uk/is/services and in paper format. Request a copy of our Service Catalogue by emailing ittraining@city.ac.uk
