ISLA
We are pleased to announce that a number of ISLA rooms have been signed off across Northampton Square. These include: C302, C309, A214, D104 and FG05. At Bunhill Row, most learning spaces on the 2nd and 3rd floors are now ISLA enabled for hybrid teaching. Further ISLA rooms will be signed off later this term.
Training
LEaD are offering training sessions for staff, based on Northampton Square. To sign up for this, click here. For staff who are unable to attend this training session, we have developed an online guide, which explains how to start an ISLA sessions, as well as some tips on hybrid teaching pedagogy. We have also developed a video walkthrough of ISLA, demonstrating how to start an ISLA session, visible on this page.
Co-Pilots
LEaD have run Co-pilot refresher training recently and have received positive feedback from staff relating to Co-pilots. We are now receiving more requests for Co-pilots for Bayes undergraduate courses and in support of Echo lecture capture LiveStream. In the next few months, we will be reviewing the process of allocating Co-pilots to Schools.
DALI +
In the last week, we have installed DALI+ in all lecture theatres in Centenary building. These rooms have microphones, located above students, allowing them to be featured in recordings, resulting in an enhanced lecture capture experience.
