I am Institute Librarian at Limerick Institute of Technology, Limerick, Ireland,
I am also a project leader for ERASMUS+ Library Network Support Services: modernizing libraries in Western Balkan countries through staff development and reforming library services.
The project is focused on reinforcing and modernizing libraries not just in the context of information literacy but all aspects of libraries in the Western Balkan Region - improving the level of competencies and skills of library staff in the region. LIT Library will lead the modernization of library standards & practices in Western Balkan countries Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo under UNSC Resolution 1244/99 and Montenegro and involving partners from EU countries Germany, Romania and Greece.
In addition I am project partner in a similar project led by the Public Administration Academy of the Republic of Armenia (PAARA), based in Yerevan, Armenia.
Previously, I led an EU TEMPUS Project: Developing Information Literacy for lifelong learning and knowledge economy in Western Balkan countries and I was a partner in an EU TEMPUS Project: Access to Society for the People with Individual Requirements (ASPIRE)
