The University of London Centre for Distance Education has opened registration for their annual conference, Research and Innovation in Distance Education and E-learning 2019, which will be held on Friday 15th March in Senate House, University of London.
The title of this year’s conference is ‘Addressing the challenges of digital education: Professional development and student experience’ and the themes are: assessment, peer learning, student experience and engagement, professional development, digital skills for students and staff, the changing role of the distance learning practitioner.
The keynote speakers for this year will be:
- Maren Deepwell, Chief Executive, Association for Learning Technology
and a panel comprising of:
- Nichola Hayes (Gretton), Head of Digital Education, University of Leicester
- David Lefevre, Director of the Edtech Lab, Imperial
- Jonathan Marshall, Head of Learning, FCIPD, Foreign and Commonwealth Office
