City, University of London seeks to recruit an Educational Video and Multimedia Specialist as part of Learning Enhancement and Development (LEaD). LEaD is a multiskilled service that supports, develops, and influences education at City. We contribute to educational strategy; run a Masters in Academic Practice; work with staff to further develop their pedagogic practices; help implement and develop educational technologies and learning spaces; and support students in need of learning support or counselling.

The postholder will work as part of the Educational Technology Operations Team and will focus on management of the MILL (Media and Innovation Learning Lab) and on working with staff to create high-quality video and multimedia teaching content. This post is a full-time, permanent position.

The successful candidate will have experience of delivering video and multimedia projects on time, in budget and to specification and of setting up and operating professional video, lighting and audio equipment in both a studio and on-location scenario. In addition to extensive video experience, they will have a thorough knowledge of the equipment, software and processes required to establish and maintain effective studio and multimedia production environments and experience of developing and facilitating technical and pedagogical training on video equipment and multimedia software. Experience of using and applying multimedia technologies to the curriculum within a higher education organisation or similar is also an essential requirement.
