City seeks to recruit a Senior Educational Technologist (Project Lead) as part of Digital Education in the Learning Enhancement and Development (LEaD) Directorate. LEaD is a multiskilled service that supports, develops, and influences education at City. We contribute to educational strategy; run a Masters in Academic Practice; work with staff to further develop their pedagogic practices; help implement and develop educational technologies and learning spaces; and support students in need of learning support.

Based in the Digital Education Projects team, you will be responsible for working on large and strategic digital education projects. In particular, this role will be supporting the STEM Digital Academy (based in the School of Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering) with project management for the design and development of a new online MSc in Computing due to be launched in September 2022.

You will be an experienced Educational Technologist with proven project management expertise, ideally in a Higher Education environment. You will have experience of working with staff to implement educational technologies or online programmes and engaging with stakeholders to facilitate change.  You will have a collaborative approach, effective communication and interpersonal skills, be able to apply project management methodologies and be able to work flexibly in a complex working environment.
