LEaD runs two programmes that might be of interest to those looking to develop further in the area of academic practice and professional education.
PGDip/MA in Academic Practice
If you have already completed a PGCert in Higher Education, why not take the next step in your academic development?
City St George’s, University of London offers a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) and MA in Academic Practice. This is designed for educators who want to further develop their expertise and enhance their skills in leadership, supervision, student support, digital education, among other areas, in higher education. If you progress to the MA, you will complete a dissertation that enables you to research and innovate within your own teaching area. This can be achieved by one of the following options:
- A critical review of the literature in your chosen topic
- A conference presentation, followed by preparing an article for publication
- Produce a digital or teaching and learning artefact followed by a research report
- A traditional small scale research report.
Modules can be taken individually or as part of a full award.
