Library Services are excited to announce that a laptop loan service for undergraduate students is now available from the Northampton Square Library, thanks to special funding from City’s undergraduate student hardship and widening participation programme.
Self-service cabinets are located on Level 2, and students can borrow a device to be used on campus during the day. Charging cables can be checked out from the Library Help Desk.
Each laptop needs to be returned by 9pm on weekdays, and 6pm at weekends – that way you can avoid overdue charges.
The laptops will automatically connect to Eduroam which means users will have access to most of the apps and software available on our PCs.
Over 50 students have already taken advantage of the scheme, so we look forward to seeing many more of you doing so in the coming weeks.
