For Black Futures Month 2025, this year’s theme is “Standing Firm in Power and Pride,”. The Law Library team have curated a display highlighting titles which celebrate a range of historic and contemporary Black voices.
You can browse and borrow from the displays, or find a range of e-books and audiobooks to download on our Libby Collection (currently available to staff and students at Clerkenwell and Moorgate campuses).

Help us to improve the diversity of our collections
If you have a suggestion for a book by an author that you’d like to see added to our collection you can recommend a book to our librarians. We especially welcome book suggestions written by Black authors, and authors from the Global Majority. Our Diversify Your Library initiative looks to increase the range of authors from the Global Majority, books by LGBTQI+ people and titles which recognise overlapping identities and experiences such as gender, class, sexuality and disability.
