Today is World Mental Health Day. The day provides a reminder of the importance of good mental health and the need to prioritise and invest in it.
This year’s theme is ‘Access to services – mental health in catastrophes and emergencies’, highlighting the need to protect our mental health and wellbeing in times of global instability. You can find more information and resources on the Mental Health Foundation website, including tips on avoiding doom scrolling and overwhelm, as well as printable affirmation cards.
City St George’s Libraries also offer a range of wellbeing resources, from self-help collections to mood-boosting reads:

All students are welcome to explore and borrow from the physical book collections across our libraries. Please note that access to online resources is currently campus-specific and may require login credentials associated with your home site.
If you, or someone you know is struggling with their mental health, you are not alone. Please reach out to the support services available at our campuses. Visit the Student Support webpages for more information on accessing help at Clerkenwell, Moorgate and Tooting.
