Take part

Every woman who takes part in MAP helps increase understanding about the importance of emotional wellbeing during pregnancy and after birth, as well as contributing to the recommendations we make at the end of MAP to make sure women with anxiety or other mental health difficulties get the help they need.

Update

Following the delay in recruitment for Pregnancy MAP, recruitment has now begun. We will be recruiting up to 2,000 women to Pregnancy MAP. If you are less than 15 weeks pregnant and would like to take part in this research, or have any questions about the study, please email map@city.ac.uk or use the contact us form and we will get back to you with further details.

The study involves completing questionnaires 3 times in pregnancy and once after birth to find out more about your experiences and psychological wellbeing. Some women will be invited to also take part in a brief telephone interview. If you know anyone who might be interested in taking part please forward the MAP details to them by either copy and pasting the link to this website, or download and send the MAP invitation e-card Postcard 1.0

Please follow our updates on @themapstudy for more information on the Pregnancy MAP project.
