Take part

Every woman who takes part in MAP helps increase understanding about the importance of emotional wellbeing during pregnancy and after birth, as well as contributing to the recommendations we make at the end of MAP to make sure women with anxiety or other mental health difficulties get the help they need.

Update

Due to COVID-19 we had to delay recruiting to Pregnancy MAP but we’re pleased to announce that we started recruiting in November 2020 and will continue in 2021 until we have 2,000 women in the Pregnancy MAP study. If you would like to be a part of this and are less than 15 weeks pregnant please get in touch on map@city.ac.uk or use the contact us form and we will get back to you with further details.

The study involves completing questionnaires 3 times in pregnancy and once after birth to find out more about your experiences and psychological wellbeing. Some women will be invited to also take part in a brief telephone interview. If you know anyone who might be interested in taking part please forward the MAP details to them by either copy and pasting the link to this website, or download and send the MAP invitation e-card Postcard 1.0

Please follow our updates on @themapstudy for more information on the Pregnancy MAP project.
