Welcome to the PhoneticsEducation (PhonEd blog). The blog aims to share good practice, innovations, and reflections from those working with phonetics in Higher Education. You can find the latest posts on our Posts page.
We welcome blog posts from any staff or students who have a story to tell, and also welcome posts from staff and students working in partnership. We are interested in the teaching and learning of all areas of phonetics including articulatory and acoustic branches of the discipline, as well as phonetics as it applies to other disciplines, such as Speech and Language Therapy, or Second Language Learning.
PhonEd (/ˌfɒnˈɛd/) is edited by Rachael-Anne Knight (City, University of London), Jane Setter (University of Reading) and Nicole Whitworth (Leeds Beckett University). Further information about our backgrounds can be found on the About Us page.
If you would like to write a post for the blog, please contact Rachael-Anne (knight@city.ac.uk). Any of the editors would be happy to talk informally about your ideas if you would find that useful.
