The REACH Pregnancy Programme team is evaluating a model of group antenatal care, which we have called ‘Pregnancy Circles’. Following a feasbility study and pilot trial, we are conducting a randomised controlled trial (RCT) of pregnancy circles involving over 2000 pregnant women. This is the first RCT of group antenatal care in the UK and is the largest such trial in the world to date.
