We did it! City University London has maintained its Fairtrade Status!
Today (6th of November 2013) we received a glowing report from the Fairtrade Foundation:
“We are delighted to renew City University London‘s Fairtrade Status and thank you for your continuing hard work and support. The City University London is clearly committed to Fairtrade, and this shows in your success in upholding and surpassing the 5 goals. Well done – we look forward to seeing how your campaign develops and what activities you have planned in the coming year.”
Since our last accreditation 2 years ago, the range of Fairtrade Products being sold in the University’s food outlets has increased by 130%….AMAZING! Look out for Fairtrade goods the next time you visit any of the outlets and let’s continue to raise awareness about the importance of Fairtrade!
