The Bees are back in town!

, , Leave a comment

Now the warmer months are upon us, and the bees are beginning to get busy, we are restarting our regular Beekeeping sessions for City’s students and staff to get involved in. See below for some more info!

When are they starting?

Our first session back will be Tuesday 3rd May at 12.00 – 12.30pm. We have recently split the hive and a new Queen Bee has been introduced so this is a really good time to get involved.

After the first session the regular Beekeeping time will be every Tuesday at 12.00 – 12.30pm.

What do I need to bring?

If you have not been before not to worry as we have got you covered. Just turn up in your normal clothes (although no open shoes or high heels please) and we will provide all the equipment. Each session will be led by an experienced Beekeeper.

Where do I go?

We meet on the third floor of the Tait building opposite Room C300. This is where the cupboard is that stores the suits. Once we have changed we will go up to Tait roof where the Bee Hives are located.

We look forward to seeing you there and if you have any questions in the meantime just let us know!
