Student presenters

The London Student Sustainability Conference highlights student research and projects that link in with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (Global Goals).

Visit the UNDP webpage to find out a bit more about the Global Goals

The conference provides opportunities for you to exhibit your work through presentations, posters, or both.

The Conference will take place in person in London on Monday 20th February 2023 and will be followed by an evening networking event. Each presentation and Q&A will also be available to live stream for delegates wanting to join online.

This is a great opportunity to share your work with a diverse audience, practice presentation skills and network with students, staff and professionals from universities across London and beyond!

Poster exhibition

All presenters will create a poster which will be displayed throughout the day. Posters are a great way to present your research or project in an attractive and easy-to-read format.

Your poster should be A1 size (either landscape or portrait) and contain a mixture of text, images and graphics. Templates are available here for landscape and portrait posters.

You can decide on the layout, but it must be clear and logical so that the reader’s eye naturally follows the flow of text. Our poster checklist [PDF] tells you all you need to know about creating a poster.

Oral presentations

In addition, students can present their project or research in a 10-minute presentation, using slides if you wish (PowerPoint, PDF, Prezi etc), which will then be followed by 10 minutes for questions and discussion.

Videos, performances and art installations

We also encourage students whose project or research takes the form of a video, music, dance or spoken word performance, art installation or practical demonstration. Please let us know if you have any specific requirements for this.
