More SLTs and researchers needed to share their valuable knowledge on therapy outcomes

The APT project needs you!

We are developing a new CPT intervention – Aphasia Partnership Training – that works with two people at once – both the person with aphasia and a member of their family.

We would like your views on what outcomes we might expect to come from this new communication partner training programme.

What improvements might there be for the person with aphasia, for the family member, or for others (friends, or other people in the family or in the community)?

In our 2nd online survey, we ask you to type in what outcomes there might be in terms of language, conversation, thoughts and feelings, relationships, doing things and anything else you can think of.

If you’re a Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) or researcher, please come and share your expertise with us, so we can line up some outcome measures that are a good fit for APT, and which capture meaningful change for those who receive this training.

Deadline = Tuesday 20th September at 9am (London, UK time).

We have listed below different links to this survey, depending on whether you are a SLT or researcher, whether you have already given consent, and whether you have already provided background information.

This survey is estimated to take around 15-20 minutes (plus approximately another 10 minutes for background information if that’s needed).

If you have any questions or need any assistance (e.g. you’re not sure which link to click on, or you’ve forgotten your unique ID code) please contact Carla Magdalani (Research Assistant) at carla.magdalani@city.ac.uk
