Learning at City Conference  23rd June 2011 – Open for registration now

Following the excellent response to last month’s call for abstracts, the programme for the 3rd annual Learning at City Conference has been confirmed and is available via the LDC website.

We are very pleased to announce that this year’s key note will be given by Aaron Porter, President of the National Union of Students.

Papers and workshops will focus on feedback strategies, using learning technology to enhance learner engagement and learning support. The sessions will include examples of research and development, demonstrations where appropriate and opportunities for questions and discussion on how this might be used by others.

The Students’ Union will be arranging a panel discussion with students presenting on topics such as assessment, personal tutors and positive learning experiences.

There will also be the Learning and Teaching Awards ceremony where Learning and Teaching prizes and Student Voice Awards will be presented by the Vice-Chancellor Professor Paul Curran.
All staff are eligible for an award, so please come along to find out who the winners are.

The event will run all day from 9.15am, starting in the Students’ Union, to 5pm, followed by a drinks reception.

Please read through the programme and sign up to your choice of sessions here:
