Welcome to the Learning Success Blog!

Uncategorized.

Hello everyone, and welcome to the Learning Success blog.

The Learning Success department aims to support students with their studies, and consists of four services: Disability Services, Dyslexia Support, Mental Health and Wellbeing and Academic Learning Support.

Here, we’re going to be posting on things which should help you with your studies – like how to critically discuss a subject, what free technologies exist to help you if you’re dyslexic, and so on.

We’ll also point you towards helpful resources, let you know about special events being put on by us, and anything else going on around City which could help you with your work.

However, one of the most important things we want to do with this blog is give everyone a chance to ask questions or comment on the subjects we discuss. A lot of people have the same problems or questions as you, so ask away – the chances are that you’ll be helping other students at the same time as yourself. If you’ve got a short question about something which hasn’t been covered in the blog, you can contact us via twitter.

If you’ve got the answer to someone else’s question, then feel free to answer yourself. As with any other blog, the rules for posting are the obvious ones: be honest, don’t post anything offensive, and be respectful of each other and each other’s privacy. Have a look at the terms of use before you post for the first time.

More soon!
