This is useful for getting every student to present and defend arguments for a particular topic

1. Re-arrange the classroom into two rows of chairs facing each other
2. The students sit on a chair facing one other student
3. One row is given one side of the debate to discuss
4. The other row is given the other side of the debate
5. They have to debate with the person opposite each other
6. After a few minutes ring the bell and get one row to move one seat to the left/right.
7. Swap over the position each row is meant to argue
