June 2023 – Prof Madeline Cruice and Dr Suzanne Beeke presented the therapy components which our stakeholders agreed were important to include in a new CPT intervention at the Linking Research to Practice event at City, University of London, to an audience of UK-based clinicians. Research assistant Carla Magdalani presented our findings about desired and expected outcomes on behalf of the team.
June 2023 – Prof Rebecca Palmer presented the key outcomes where there was agreement across stakeholders (outcomes which were hoped for and expected after a communication partner training (CPT) intervention for family dyads) at the Nordic Aphasia Conference in Reykjavik, Iceland to an audience of international aphasia researchers. Prof Madeline Cruice and research assistant Carla Magdalani presented a poster sharing the core therapy components upon which our stakeholders agreed were important to include in a new CPT intervention.
December 2022 – Prof Madeline Cruice presented the key therapeutic techniques and target areas for change in front of researchers and industry leaders at the 12th World Congress for Neurorehabilitation, hosted by the World Federation for Neurorehabilitation (WFNR) in Vienna, Austria.
November 2022 – Data collection is complete!
November 2022 – Prof Madeline Cruice shared some top tips to help communication to spark discussions with people with aphasia and family members at the Aphasia Forum, organised by Gill Pearl (Speakeasy) and Gill Jackson (Dyscover).
September 2022 – Prof Madeline Cruice presented early findings on consensus to Speech and Language Therapists and researchers at the British Aphasiology Society (BAS) Therapy Symposium, hosted by City, University of London.
