New well-being report published
A new report looking at well-being in the UK and across Europe over time has just been published.
A joint effort from the Centre for Comparative Social Surveys, City University London, The New Economics Foundation and Cambridge University, the report – Looking through the wellbeing kaleidoscope: Results from the European Social Survey – looks at:
- the design of accessible headline indicators to communicate progress and change in population well-being, based on subjective well-being data,
- national and cross-national subjective well-being,
- the well-being of societies as a whole, and
- barriers to the use of well-being data in policy-making.
The City team comprised Dr Eric Harrison, Deputy Director of the ESS, and Rima Saini and Nadine Zwiener, second year PhD researchers in the City Q-Step Centre.
