Who are you?
My name is Sarah Wood.
What do you do at City?
I lead the Widening Participation Outreach team. My current team is five project officers, a senior outreach officer, a careers adviser and an events assistant plus a couple of hundred City students who work for us.
How long have you been at City?
I have been here over 10 years. (I stopped counting at 10). I started as the WP careers adviser before moving on to managing the team.
Tell us a bit about yourself?
I am mother to Violet, 8 and Matilda, 6. Since hitting my 40s I am obsessed with skin care. I like to watch films and dancing at gigs, festival and in my kitchen. I buy lots of books I never get around to reading. I like to sleep.
