1 day events, open to students aged 16-18. You can:

  • Explore a professional area in-depth
  • Take part in academic and practical workshops
  • Work with academics, students, employers and alumni
  • Use attendance at UniFocus days in your UCAS personal statements to show your interest in your chosen subject

UniMentors

Open to 16-18 year olds, looking to decide what/where to study at university, become more confident at what to do after school and learn more about university.

Get paired up with a current City student for 6 weeks to learn about university (studying, balancing studies and socialising, student finance and more):

  • Come onto campus for an introduction & Tour on Thurs 6th February (9.50am-12pm), have a campus tour and lunch
  • Have 4 weekly meetings with your mentor at your school
  • Learn about the university experience
  • Explore your options after school
  • Get tips and guidance from a student currently at university
  • Learn about personal statements
  • Get feedback on your UCAS statement or CV
  • End on campus on Friday 14th March to celebrate, with workshops and talks and learn about different subjects and university life
