On Japan’s Transnational Cool for Discover Society
An article by Dr Casey Brienza, titled “Does Manga’s Transnational Cool Benefit Japan?” and providing a layperson’s introduction to her research on manga publishing in the United States, has been published this month in the sixth issue of Discover Society.
Discover Society is published by Social Research Publications, a not-for-profit collaboration between sociology and social policy academics and publishers at Policy Press to promote the publication of social research, commentary, and policy analysis.
Casey extends warm thanks to Gurminder K. Bhambra and the other Directors for soliciting her participation.
