Andy discusses culture, the city and Milan Expo 2015

Andy Pratt gave a lecture in Milan on June 18th. The lecture was entitled ‘Whose culture for the creative city?’. The lecture was introduced by the Milan City Councillor responsible for Culture, and there were two respondent papers.

The event took place at the magnificent Triennale Design Museum (http://www.triennale.it/it/ ) . The event was organised by Fondazione Feltrinelli and LabExpo, under the direction of Salvatore Veca. Andy was contributing as an adviser for the “urban sociology” stream of LabExpo,  the scientific committee of Expo2015 (Milan is hosting the world Expo in 2015).

Andy wrote a short article that summarised his lecture and it was published in NOVA, the weekend magazine about culture and technology of “Il sole 24 ore”, Italy’s most influential financial newspaper
