New Director of Tate Britain is a CCI alumnus

CCI wants to congratulate Alex Farquharson on being appointed Director of Tate Britain. Alex is an alumna of City, and what is now the MA Culture, Policy and Management degree. Alex studied for an MA in Arts Criticism at City in 1992.  Alex was previously head of Nottingham Contemporary, whom Tate director Sir Nicholas Serota said had established it as one of the leading galleries in the UK.

City has a long history of educating students in art and cultural management and criticism and our alumni are now working in roles across the creative and cultural sector.  You could be the next!
